South Africa · Pre-launch
Nokwanda is a network designed to connect women, businesses, communities and opportunities across South Africa.
Designed to work alongside the communities women already trust.

About Nokwanda
Across South Africa, women are often the anchors of households, communities and enterprise — building businesses, creating livelihoods and turning opportunity into something that reaches far beyond themselves.
Today, more than four in ten South African households are headed by women. Women are also deeply embedded in the country's economic life — as professionals, entrepreneurs, employers, creators and community builders.
Yet much of that capability remains fragmented: a business known within one community but invisible to another; expertise contained within separate networks; an opportunity that never reaches the woman who could use it.

Nokwanda seeks to change that.
We are building a platform that makes women, their businesses and the communities around them more visible, more connected and better able to access opportunity.
Because when she rises, everything around her rises too.
Nokwanda seeks to connect the strength that already exists — across women, businesses and communities — so that visibility becomes connection, connection becomes opportunity, and opportunity creates wider economic impact.
Why Nokwanda
Women are building businesses across South Africa every day, often within fragmented networks where the right people, knowledge and opportunities sit just out of reach.
Nokwanda is being created to connect South Africa's women-in-business ecosystem — helping women, and the communities they already belong to, become more visible, connected and able to access opportunity.
